Lana and Marcelo's Elopement | Old San Juan
Puerto Rico and its tropical weather... After a few, very rainy days in Puerto Rico, leading up to their elopement, Lana and I were in constant communication, monitoring the weather forecast for Old San Juan. Lana and Marcelo wanted to make the most of their elopement in Old San Juan, they stayed at the Gallery Inn, a small boutique hotel, with an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean, and some of the old colonial fortifications built by the spaniards. Lana and Marcelo really like the look and feel of Old San Juan, so they wanted to have some post ceremony photos around the nearby streets.
The day of their elopement, the weather was looking in our favor, but there were still some chances for rain. When I walked in to Lana's room, the first thing I notice is an open laptop, with a radar image of Puerto Rico's weather forecast for the day, it didn't look all that clear, but close enough to make the most of their elopement, and be able to take photos outside. Still, there was a plan in place in case the weather did not cooperate, but in the end, it did.
Lana and Marcelo's elopement was a sweet, emotional, they looked at each other with so much love, so much excitement, that their day had finally come, and it was perfect. The ceremony was held the room's balcony with a view of the Atlantic Ocean, and parts of the Spanish fortifications. Heartfelt vows, a passionate kiss, Lana and Marcelo were able to accomplish their dream of an elopement in Old San Juan. After the ceremony we took some photos around the hotel, and then made the most of our time around the nearby streets.
It was a privilege to witness such an intimate wedding, and to capture every moment for Lana and Marcelo.
