The Puerto Rican summer is no stranger to sweltering heat, and this year has been very hot, but we were fortunate enough to pick a day and time when the temperature showed a touch of mercy. The sun's intensity was tempered, allowing us to explore around the Luis Muñoz Rivera Park with greater comfort.
For me, one of the highlights of this family photo session was the participation of my 7-year-old son. Armed with a Nikon Z6 camera, and a 50mm lens, he brought a different perspective to the shoot, plus his boundless energy and helped to bring out smiles from everyone.

Timing truly is everything, and in this case, we hit the jackpot. The choice of the perfect moment to conduct the session allowed us to make the most of the natural lighting. The reduced heat meant that the family could relax, interact, and genuinely enjoy their time together in front of the camera.
